I am so pleased I took time years ago to read 'Trusting God even when life hurts' by Jerry Bridges see http://www.amazon.com/Trusting-God-Even-When-Hurts/dp/1600063055/ref=dp_ob_title_bk  It was foundational to understanding hardships along the way. And I highly recommend it to all, even if you are not a christian. Life is so short, I have lost two best friends in the past, none of us knows when our time here is over....so live life 'in all it's abundance'.
